Note this piece has crazing. While beautiful it is not *technically* food safe. I dont personally buy into this but I must share this info with you.

I have read scientific research, and anecdotal feedback from other potters, and have come to the conclusion that:

1) the risk of harboring bacteria is minimal

2) the dishwasher is the best bet for anyone concerened
